| The final render of the main site map. I think I like this one the best. The sky just seems a little more alive than the others. Then again, I might just be partial to it because I've done so many dark/night images lately and a lighter one is a change of pace. This specific images almost didn't come to be. My hard drive crashed and I lost all my 2003 work including the mainmap for which a sunrise hadn't been rendered yet. Luckily, I still had the file open on my rendering server as it was rendering the night version and managed to save it to that computer's hard drive. Lucky break. The experience prompted me to rebuild my computer with a level 5 RAID array and setup a nightly tape backup. At least I learned something. =P |
